• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in UX writing, content design, technical writing, writing, editorial, marketing, or related, as well as leading content strategy projects.
• Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).

• 8 years of writing, editorial, marketing, or UX writing experience in an agency setting.
• 7 years of experience interacting with executive leadership.
• 5 years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional technology organization.

In this role, you will be joining the XR Studio team, you will represent a consistent tone throughout the family of XR products, defining a common vocabulary for the XR design system. You will partner closely with our UX, Product Management (PM), Legal, and Privacy teams to deliver clear, concise strings for our users. All of this results in experiences that our users immediately understand, in both written and spoken word, throughout all of our XR experiences.

breakthroughs in compute, connectivity, mobile, and now, AI. Google's XR
team is at the forefront of the next major leap – the convergence of AI and
XR. This is more than just new devices – it's about reimagining how we
interact with the world around us. We're building a future where
lightweight XR devices like smart glasses and headsets pair with helpful AI
to augment human intelligence, offering personalized, conversational, and
contextually aware experiences.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $171000 - $247000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

• Understand and advocate for all UX functions as essential to the product lifecycle.
• Drive the development of innovative UX writing and content design solutions to complex user, product, and business problems.
• Build alignment by collaborating with product managers, team members, and other cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., marketing, legal, engineering) to develop a product narrative, goal, mission, or principles.
