Family Law Attorney

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Family Law Associate to join the legal team of a successful San Jose firm. This is a hybrid position. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in family law. This role requires excellent research and writing skills. The Law Associate will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys with legal drafting, case preparation, and client interactions.

• Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools such as Westlaw to support case strategies.
• Draft legal documents, including motions, briefs, and contracts with precision and clarity.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys in preparing for trials and hearings.
• Maintain organized case files and documentation to ensure compliance with legal standards.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to practice areas.
• Provide administrative support as needed, including managing schedules and client communications.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Family Law issues.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
