Litigation Paralegal

Position Overview

Join Scion Staffing to fill the Employment Litigation Paralegal role for a well‑established mid‑size law firm in San Jose, CA. This onsite position requires working in San Jose, CA.

• Draft and prepare legal documents including motions, complaints, briefs, and other litigation materials.
• Assist with management of evidence, interrogatories, and e‑discovery processes.
• Interview clients and witnesses to prepare for hearings, depositions, and trial.
• Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors to fulfill discovery obligations.
• Maintain and manage Excel databases and other data creation tasks.
• Provide legal support as assigned in accordance with California State Bar rules.

• Paralegal certificate or degree in paralegal studies (preferred ABA‑approved program).
• Experience supporting attorneys in employment litigation, civil litigation, or HR‑related matters.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with electronic discovery platforms.
• Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.

• Hourly rate: $52–$60, commensurate with experience.
