Senior Operational Buyer

Adecco is partnering with Bloom Energy to hire an experienced Sr. Operational Buyer to support manufacturing operations and procurement excellence.

Are you a supply chain professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? Bloom Energy is seeking a proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented Sr. Operational Buyer to ensure critical materials, components, and services are available to support production schedules, inventory goals, cost targets, and quality standards.

In this role, you'll work closely with planning, manufacturing, logistics, quality, finance, and suppliers to drive material readiness, optimize supplier performance, and minimize supply chain disruptions.

• Procure materials, components, equipment, and services to support manufacturing operations.

• Manage purchase orders, releases, pull-ins, pushouts, cancellations, and expedites using Oracle ERP.

• Review and act on MRP signals to ensure material availability and planning accuracy.

• Maintain accurate purchase order dates, quantities, acknowledgments, and supplier commitments.

• Monitor shortages, late deliveries, and excess inventory while driving corrective action plans.

• Partner with internal teams and suppliers to resolve purchasing, receiving, shipment, invoice, and payment issues.

• Track supplier delivery performance, open order status, and responsiveness.

• Support Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), part releases, and planning changes.

• Identify and help qualify new suppliers to improve quality, capacity, cost, and business continuity.

• Drive process improvements through automation, reporting enhancements, and workflow standardization.

• Support supplier transitions, cost-reduction initiatives, and special projects.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field preferred.

• 5-6+ years of purchasing, procurement, materials planning, or supply chain experience.

• Strong understanding of procure-to-pay processes, MRP, supplier coordination, and inventory control.

• Ability to read BOMs, understand part revisions, and analyze demand and supply data.

• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, Lookups, formulas, and reporting.

• Experience with Oracle ERP, Agile PLM, and business analytics tools preferred.

• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay Rate: $45-$60 per hour

Pay Details: $45.00 to $60.00 per hour
