Responsibilities

The Fire Safety Regional Operations team focuses on implementing global fire safety strategies and policies at a regional level. This team will act as regional liaisons for all fire safety‑related activities, ensuring that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and policies are effectively executed. They will also build and maintain internal and external partnerships to achieve high levels of fire safety execution. The Regional Operations team will play a critical role in translating strategy into action on the ground.

  • Regional Implementation:
    Ensure that fire safety SOPs and policies developed by the COE are effectively implemented in the assigned region.
  • Global programs: lead global programs and initiatives to improve fire safety standards and practices on a global scale.
  • Partnership Building:
    Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners, including local fire departments, regulatory bodies, and safety organizations.
  • Execution and Compliance:
    Oversee the execution of fire safety initiatives and ensure compliance with regional and international fire safety regulations.
  • Incident Response:
    Lead and coordinate fire safety incident responses, ensuring timely and effective resolution of fire safety issues.
  • Reporting and Feedback:
    Provide regular feedback to the central team on the effectiveness of fire safety strategies and initiatives, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in EHS, physical security operations, fire safety operations, Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), with a proven track record in regional implementation and adherence to local regulations.
  • Strong learning agility, with the ability to quickly absorb new information, adapt to changing environments and stay current with industry trends and best practices.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the proven capability to build, maintain, and influence relationships across all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Proven ability to lead and manage comprehensive physical safety initiatives, including risk assessments, safety audits, and emergency response protocols.
  • In‑depth knowledge of regional fire safety regulations, standards, and best practices, with a proactive approach to ensuring compliance and safety preparedness.
  • Experience in managing and responding to critical incidents, including coordination with local authorities and stakeholders.
Job Information

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $105,245 - $193,378 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
