Events Program Manager

We are currently hiring for an Events Program Manager role for a long-term contract engagement based in San Jose, CA
. This position is ideal for professionals with strong program/project management experience and a passion for delivering high-impact events in fast-paced, enterprise environments.

Events Program Manager

San Jose, CA (Onsite/Hybrid as per business need)

Long-term Contract

Immediate / As per availability

• End-to-end event management and production, including logistics such as venue coordination, catering, transportation, and on-site execution
• Development of event content, promotions, and related marketing initiatives
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders, agencies, and vendors to plan and execute medium to large-scale events
• Build post-event reports, conduct retrospectives, and identify improvement opportunities
• Develop and implement processes to track, measure, and report event impact to stakeholders
• Manage budgets, timelines, and multiple work streams simultaneously
• Maintain operational knowledge across a variety of event formats and requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent practical experience)
• 5+ years of experience in event planning, event management, or program management
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Proven experience handling multiple complex projects concurrently
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong hands‑on experience with spreadsheets, reporting, and tracking mechanisms
• Experience in budget management, vendor negotiation, and presentations

• Ability to operate strategically in high‑pressure, fast‑paced environments
• Experience creating dashboards and automating processes
• Exposure to developer communities or developer‑focused programs is a plus
