Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, storing and distribution of materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Unpacks and checks received goods against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records, rejects unsatisfactory items, lifts heavy items, may operate a forklift (optional), prepares records of merchandise shipped, posts weights and shipping charges, prepares goods for final shipment, examines, stocks and distributes materials, may prepare kitting packages for assembly.

This position may also be known as shipping, receiving, pick‑packs or stores clerk.

• Performs shipping, receiving, storing and distribution of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
• Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items.
• Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift (optional).
• Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.
• Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment.
• Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines; may prepare kitting packages for assembly production.

• Must count material and pick kits, enter information into databases including Oracle and AWCS, and operate a forklift (optional).
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Experience in receiving: opening boxes, verifying count against packing list.
• Experience in warehouse: issuing material to manufacturing.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Computer experience.
• Prior warehouse or receiving experience is a plus.
• Will back up supervisor to manage stockroom and attend production meetings when supervisor is absent.

Annual salary range: $43,680 – $49,920 ($21 – $24 per hour). Base pay within the range will be determined by years of experience, education, certifications and skills and is part of the total rewards package.
