Seeking experienced Test Technicians in San Jose, CA and Austin, TX - A great opportunity and path for career growth! Required
- Must have testing experience in a semiconductor environment in ATE setups (Automatic Test Equipment), equipment handler & probe experience.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder).
- Test Technician 1 – San Jose – $35/hr – 5 night shifts (10PM ~7AM)
- Test Technician 2 – San Jose – $30/hr – 3 night shifts (10PM ~7AM)
- Test Technician 3 – Austin – $25/hr – 2 night shifts (10PM ~7AM)
- Technical diploma.
- At least 2 years experience testing semiconductors on ATE setups.
- Knowledgeable in basic semiconductor test processes.
- Knowledge of basic Microsoft applications.
- Able to work overtime/shift when required.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot handlers, probers, and test stations when problems arise, working with local engineers and vendors to bring up equipment.
- Support the setup and frequent docking/undocking of ATE to probers/handlers based on daily engineering/production activities.
- Troubleshoot occasional test board performance issues and elevate to engineers for permanent fixes.
- Perform device-level testing by hand or using automated handlers and test equipment.
- Follow procedures for prober and handler setups.
- Perform device-level testing by hand using ATE and test equipment.
- Visual inspection of parts in preparation for backend activities (bake, pack, labeling, etc.) and support backend activities as needed.
- Gather engineering data using oscilloscopes, network analyzers, multimeters, and basic semiconductor test equipment.
- Support off-shift, weekend, and holiday activities as needed.
- Familiar with IC tester operator test program loading.
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of working closely with application, product, and test engineering teams.
- Self-starter, completing tasks with minimal supervision.
- Willing to take on challenging technical activities and troubleshoot equipment.
- Ability to multi-task while paying careful attention to detail.
- Be able to communicate well with engineers and across functional support groups.
- Familiarity with probers is a plus.
