Process Technician – Swing Shift (San Jose, CA)

Ultimate Staffing is currently seeking a Process Technician to join a client in San Jose, CA for a swing shift (2:30–11:00 pm, Sunday‑Thursday or Tuesday‑Saturday).

$25.00/hr – $32.00/hr

We seek a detail‑oriented Process Technician to support powder deposition, pouching, and lamination operations in a controlled environment. The role requires excellent manual dexterity, strict adherence to SOPs, and accurate documentation. You will work in dry cleanroom conditions with full protective gear and handle materials safely.

• Perform powder deposition, pouching, and lamination processes according to SOPs.
• Operate within glove boxes and dry rooms under strict environmental controls.
• Wear full cleanroom attire and Powered Air‑Purifying Respirator (PAPR) as required.
• Maintain accurate process logs and write clear pass‑downs for shift transitions.
• Handle materials and equipment safely, including lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards at all times.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.

• Prior experience in spray coating or powder handling industries is a plus.
• Cleanroom or controlled environment experience desirable.

• Steady hands and strong attention to detail; ability to avoid errors in repetitive tasks.
• Ability to follow SOPs rigorously and maintain process discipline.
• Good record‑keeping and communication skills for documentation and pass‑downs.
• Physical ability to bend, stretch, and lift more than 25 lbs.
• No respiratory restrictions (must be able to wear PAPR).
• Comfortable working in full cleanroom gear for extended periods.

• Dry room and glovebox operations.
• Standing for long periods and performing manual tasks.
