Job SummaryWe are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Hyper Scale DC Program Specialist to be responsible for analyzing forecast from the largest Hyper Scale customer and coordinate with multiple production entities to efficiently develop/update production planning in order to realize timely delivery of goods to such customer. The Hyper Scale DC Program Specialist manages and coordinates multiple purchase orders and the related logistical aspects required considering frequently changing priority.
Based on those work, the Hyper Scale DC Program Specialist will communicate with customer for production plan, delivery schedule and/or delivery priority change. Also, the Hyper Scale Program Specialist will handle variety of data in D365 database for smooth and efficient control of purchase order, stock, and delivery. In addition, this position will handle BOM (bill of material), production planning, and labor purchase order transaction for its group company.
As a Hyper Scale Program Coordinator, you will interact with multiple internal departments, other group companies, and our contracted outside logistic partners and will work directly with the customer on a daily basis. This position will require a high degree of self-motivation, organizational skills and being able to work efficiently without significant direct supervision.
- Compare last forecast and the latest forecast to find out differences in between.
- Estimate monthly sales based on the latest forecast.
- Ask customers any questions on forecast which are needed for our smooth production planning including missing/incomplete information in the forecast.
- Communicate with other teams to collect missing/additional information which are required for production planning.
- Distribute the forecast with own analysis and findings.
- Lead discussion of how to reflect the latest forecast into each production entity’s production planning.
- Receive multiple purchase orders for multiple different projects/delivery locations every week.
- Closely monitor status of production, shipment to warehouse and shipment from warehouse.
- Reflect change in priority of production and delivery based on close communication with customer and working with production entities and logistics partner to reflect such change in priority in timely manner enable deliveries to be made without delay.
- Input purchase order, issue sales order for production, split or revise sales order along with delivery schedule.
- Input and update stock, delivery information in the system.
- Strongly encouraged to propose improvements on how to utilize D365’s functions based on actual workflow and needs.
- For specific production entity, based on communication with personnel of such entity, input/update BOM in system, and issue production planning and labor purchase order in timely manner.
- In the D365 system, transfer the finished goods from such production entity to logistics partner’s warehouse for timely asset management.
- Reconcile shortages at factory.
- Reconcile finished goods inventory at logistics partner’s warehouse.
- Constant evaluation of company’s systems and processes to look for ways and/or methods to improve on current practices.
- Involvement with customer on projects related to system and process improvements.
- Continually expanding knowledge base within D365.
- Support occasional matters as directed.
- Basic understanding of fiber optic cabling, connectorization, and network components.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex production and logistics data.
