Help End Alzheimer's - Lead Recruitment & Outreach for "Do What You Love to End ALZ"

We provide programs and support services for patients, families, caregivers, and others in the San Francisco Bay Area affected by Alzheimer's disease and related disorders. Outside the federal government, the Alzheimer's Association is the largest research funder in the country and offers advocacy opportunities to make public policy change. The Association leads strategic initiatives to support diversity and inclusion, strengthening outreach to all populations and broadening its reach in all communities.

Are you a natural networker with a passion for making a difference? The Alzheimer’s Association is looking for dynamic, well-connected individuals to serve as Volunteer Recruiters for our Do What You Love to End ALZ™ campaign. This is more than a volunteer role—it’s a chance to lead grassroots growth, double our impact by recruiting new fundraisers, and expand our reach into vibrant communities like pickleball, fitness, arts, and beyond.

Qualifications
  • Sales, marketing, or community outreach experience
  • Public speaking and networking skills
  • Event planning or grassroots organizing background
Responsibilities
  • Open your network to recruit new fundraising participants
  • Connect with local businesses, clubs, and influencers (e.g., pickleball players, paddle manufacturers)
  • Table at events, give presentations, and attend networking functions
  • Host recruitment events targeted to specific communities or interest groups
  • Inspire others to take action and support the Alzheimer’s Association mission
