Supervisor of Environmental Services – Good Samaritan Hospital – San Jose, CA

Salary Estimate: $62,774.40 – $87,859.20 per year

Full-time | Mid-Senior level

We are seeking a Supervisor of Environmental Services to promote growth and unlock possibilities at Good Samaritan Hospital. As part of HCA Healthcare, you will lead a group of employees, train personnel, conduct performance reviews, provide input on budget, and manage human resources issues.

• Oversee and organize day-to-day operations of Environmental Services
• Provide leadership to staff and conduct performance reviews
• Offer input and recommendations regarding budget
• Make recommendations on human resources issues and perform subordinate duties as needed

• High School diploma or equivalent required; A.S. or equivalent preferred
• NEHA preferred
• 1-3 years supervisory experience required
• Evidence of competency in Environmental Services, hospital and healthcare management preferred
• 0-1 year progressive hospital/nursing management experience or equivalent education and experience required
• Experience in successful administration and leadership of organizational management programs preferred
• Ability to manage department employee and labor relations/Human Resource issues
• Current Microsoft, computer and other relevant software skills
• Ability to learn and utilize computerized patient care and management system
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English
