RN II – Emergency Room (CNA Represented)

Templeton, CA | Acute Care

Contract | Nights (19:00–07:30) | Expected 36 hours/week

• Provide comprehensive nursing care within the Emergency Department, serving a patient population ranging from newborns to geriatrics
• Perform triage assessments to prioritize patient care based on acuity and clinical presentation
• Deliver treatment interventions and coordinate care throughout the patient's ED visit
• Manage discharge planning and patient education to ensure safe transitions of care
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using EPIC

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor — required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor — required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from an approved vendor — required
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) — required within 6 months of hire or transfer
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification — required
• Minimum Associate's Degree in Nursing (A.S.) or equivalent — required
• Minimum one year of acute care experience — required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records — required

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Prior Emergency Department nursing experience strongly preferred

• Opportunity to work in a dynamic Emergency Department environment serving a diverse patient population across all age groups
