Join a dedicated Labor & Delivery nursing team as a Registered Nurse in San Jose, California. This 13-week travel nursing assignment offers the opportunity to provide high-acuity obstetric care in a critical-need L&D setting while serving the diverse Northern California community. San Jose combines a vibrant, innovative atmosphere with convenient access to cultural attractions, outdoor recreation, and local amenities.

- Assignment Type: 13-week travel Registered Nurse assignment
- Start Date: December 1, 2026
- End Date: February 27, 2027
- Schedule: 36 hours per week; approximately three 12-hour shifts
- Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- Nursing Specialty: Labor & Delivery – Critical Need
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,030–$3,190
- Work Setting: On-site
- At least 1 year of recent full-time equivalent Registered Nurse experience within the last 3 years
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state where care is provided
- Basic Life Support certification
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification
- Maternal Child Health Registered Nurse credentials or experience
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field preferred
- Recent Labor & Delivery experience preferred, including high-risk obstetric experience
- Five or more years of recent Labor & Delivery experience preferred
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and promptly identify changes requiring intervention
- Support care for high-risk obstetric patients in collaboration with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Administer medications and treatments safely according to established protocols
- Assist with deliveries and respond effectively to obstetric and neonatal emergencies
- Educate patients and families regarding labor, delivery, recovery, and newborn care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and promote high standards of patient safety and quality patient care
