As a Groundskeeper you will perform general gardening and landscaping work, as well as cleaning, operating, and maintaining facilities in an efficient and safe way to meet customer needs and support an enriching educational environment for our students, staff, and community. As an experienced groundskeeper, you are a detail‑oriented professional who has excellent time management skills and a commitment to customer service and safety. You are able to work well independently and within a team. You apply best practices and have a desire to continuously improve and grow within our organization.

• Performing routine grounds maintenance and beautification, including mowing, trimming, planting, and cleanup.
• Supporting irrigation system operations, including adjustments and minor maintenance.
• Maintaining safety and cleanliness across outdoor areas by following established procedures and reporting hazards.
• Assisting with inventory and equipment care, including cleaning and organizing tools and work spaces.
• Safely operating machinery and tools, such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and forklifts, under supervision.
• Working collaboratively with the team to ensure grounds are maintained to district standards.
• Demonstrating reliability, teamwork, and pride in maintaining safe and welcoming outdoor environments.

• Completion of 12th grade or an equivalent combination of education, experience and training

• Valid CA driver's license
• 30 day H-6 DMV report required, if hired

• Maintenance Department
• 1.0 FTE - 40hrs./week - 6:30am-3:00pm
• 12-Month Position
