Key Responsibilities- Research and Innovation:
- Conduct in-depth research on pet behavior, health, and technology trends to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation.
- Develop and execute research plans to validate new product concepts and features, leveraging AI and IoT technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, design, marketing) to translate research findings into actionable product requirements.
- Product
Roadmap:- Contribute to the development of the company's product roadmap, especially in the areas of pet health monitoring, robotics, and AI autonomy.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on the feasibility and scalability of new product features, ensuring alignment with the company's long-term vision.
- Team Development:
- Enhance and develop the existing R&D team, focusing on building capabilities in AI, EE (electrical engineering), and mechanical design.
- Mentor and coach team members to drive innovation and excellence in research and development.
- Partnerships and
Collaboration:- Establish partnerships with top universities for animal research and study to access external expertise and resources.
- Collaborate with pet researchers, veterinarians, and industry experts to stay updated on the latest advancements in pet health and technology.
- Education: Ph.D. in a relevant field (e.g., animal science, electrical engineering, robotics, AI)
- Research
Experience:- Strong background in research and development, with experience in translating research findings into commercial products.
- Proven track record in leading research projects in the areas of pet technology, AI, or IoT.
- Technical
Skills:- Expertise in AI autonomy, robotics, and sensor technologies, with a deep understanding of how these technologies can be applied to pet products.
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, with the ability to use research data to drive product decisions.
- Team Leadership:
- Ability to lead and manage a team of researchers and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
