- We are hiring immediately for an Executive Chef / Production position.

San Jose, CA - Schedule:
Tuesday – Saturday (AM shift) - Pay Range: $95,000.00 – $ annually
To support our growth, we’re looking for an exceptional Production Executive Chef to join our awesome team with Bon Appetit at Google! The Executive Chef is responsible for the overall culinary experience of the production, including quality and innovation. This role oversees daily operations and administrative tasks, such as financial management, sanitation, and safety, to ensure culinary and operational excellence. Collaborating with the Campus Executive Chef and key stakeholders across various departments, the Executive Chef will leverage their culinary and operational expertise to uphold food standards, enhance the user experience, and promote the Food program expectations.

- Manage workplace and food safety, including allergen management
- You have a passion for quality food preparation and taste
- Manage high volume production schedule and facility
- Follow all menu and production/prep expectations and guides, opening/closing checklist, and responsibility guides
- Set an expectation of teamwork that is friendly and engaging
- Train and develop team members
- Ensure employee reviews, coaching sessions, and disciplinary actions are delivered in a professional and timely manner
- Ensure that all products and ingredients that are used are purchased following sector and Food Program purchasing standards and sustainability commitments
- Meet all timelines for payroll, service, accounts receivables, human resources, corporate office, and all other timelines given by our partner and management
- Ensure that all hiring and training standards are met
- Degree from a post-secondary culinary arts training program preferred not required
- Ability to drive and enhance a culture of Food and Workplace Safety
- A minimum of 2 years Chef de Cuisine experience
- Strong passion for great food and hospitality
- Culinary production experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in computer and technical skills, working knowledge of Google Suite tools
- Managing in a Union Environment is a plus
- Serv Safe Certification preferred
