Our client is one of the major F&B and Hospitality companies in Singapore, and provide various services, including restaurants, conceptualization, development and operations. Opening in Bangkok.
Title of Position: Bar Manager
Package: 70,000 - 80,000 Baht

General MissionThe Bar Manager is fully responsible for managing and directing all aspects of the bar and beverage program, ensuring it operates as a successful, independent profit centre that aligns with restaurant's authentic Spanish concept. This includes maximizing beverage revenues, ensuring compliance, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction through superior service and product quality.
Administration & Compliance- Comply with local liquor licensing and food safety practices
. - Be responsible for updating and reviewing the Bar Operational SOPs and Risk Management Plan related to bar safety.
- Constantly remind employees of personal hygiene, safety, and responsible alcohol service protocols at all times.
- Conduct pre-shift briefings and regular training sessions for the bar team, ensuring they are effective.
- Assist the Restaurant Manager with monthly attendance sheets and weekly rostering for the bar team.
- Acknowledgement
- Welcoming customers, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders
- Leading the bartending team, giving directions and establishing processes for the smooth and natural flow of service
- Collaborating with the Restaurant Manager in order to establish clear guidelines and work system
- Collaborating with the Marketing Executive, Restaurant Manager in order to create new activations, events and promotions
- Drive cocktail menu changes to ensure fresh, innovative, and seasonally accurate cocktails are available on the menu
- Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to customers
- Checking identification when suspicious to ensure customers are of legal age to purchase and consume alcohol
- Upholding the expected quality standards of the service and products
- Ensuring the development of their own complete working knowledge of the beverage menu items, their ingredients and their preparations
- Developing an understanding of the unique and complimentary flavour pairings with the dishes
- Respecting hygienic security measures, as well as maintaining a clean and organised work station
- Adhering to the local alcohol laws
- Performing inventory control and maintaining a well-stocked bar inventory
- Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register
- Ensuring the daily opening and closing duties of the bar are done correctly
- Creating a friendly and social environment at the bar with the customers
- Continuously evaluating customer satisfaction and being responsive
