We are currently recruiting for the position of Multi‑Purpose Clerk – Cashier at 844 Blossom Hill Rd., San Jose, CA 95123.

• Center Store/Front End – Operate the check stand according to company policy, memorize PLU codes, order, receive, unload, stock and rotate products, merchandise product, and perform POS and inventory activities.
• Produce – Receive, inspect, log, trim, wash, wrap produce, stock, rotate and merchandise product, maintain floral area, keep area and equipment clean.
• Meat/Seafood – Receive, inspect, log, weight, wrap, label products, stock, rotate, provide customer service, take special orders, operate equipment such as slicers and wrappers, keep areas clean.
• Bakery/Deli – Receive, inspect, log, prepare, weigh, package, label products, stock, rotate, merchandise baked goods, take special orders, operate ovens, proofers, slicers, mixers, keep areas clean.
• Janitorial – Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout store; sweep and mop floors, clean restrooms, break rooms, offices, shelving, equipment, front‑of‑store and parking lot, empty trash, operate janitorial equipment as needed.
• All departments – Sweep and mop floors, may operate forklift or baler if authorized, perform other duties as assigned.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Excellent customer service and communication (verbal and written) skills.
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency and self‑motivation.
• Proactive, initiative, enthusiastic, and flexible.

High School Diploma (or GED) or additional job experience.

Six months of related experience.

Must be available to work a variety of required retail hours; must be at least 18 years of age.

Requires standing and other physical movements on a frequent basis; requires lifting up to 40 lbs. without assistance.

Hiring pay range: $18.45 - $26.50 hourly.
