A hotel sales coordinator assists clients in booking hotel meeting and event spaces, supports the team within the department, and provides services directly to the client. The coordinator also works with various hotel departments and outside vendors to ensure that events and meetings run smoothly.
Responsibilities- Answer telephone and respond to caller inquiries in a pleasant manner.
- Answer client/booker questions about property facilities/services (e.g., hours of operation, rates and room types, packages, promotions, entertainment, restaurants).
- Serve as the point of contact for clients and communicate with them by phone and email to respond to questions and requests.
- Coordinate internally with the sales & marketing team.
- Generate reports, prepare proposals, collect details, coordinate with clients & suppliers.
