Position overviewMaruwa America Corp. is seeking a New Business Development (Sales) Executive in the San Jose area. Candidates are required to have sales experience in semiconductors and electronic components. This role focuses on growing our presence in emerging markets.
Key responsibilities- Find and support new business opportunities for electronic components in North America, focusing more in Silicon Valley and San Francisco
- Coordinate projects with internal teams, partners, and affiliated companies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing both technical and commercial support
- Visit customers on-site to assist with design‑in activities and ongoing projects
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events
- Help achieve sales targets set by management
- Prepare reports for management and headquarters on projects and customer activity
- Work closely with engineering team to make sure customer requirements are met
- Manage customer inquiries, quotations, and delivery schedules
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or account support semiconductors and electronic components or related hardware preferred within the United States
- Comfortable communicating with engineers, buyers or technical customers
- Basic understanding of the electronics or technology industry
- Willingness to travel within the US or internationally (if needed)
- Valid US driver’s license
Form of employment:
Full‑Time (Hybrid Form, required to travel 2x a month to Headquarters - Santa Ana, CA)
Working hours:
from Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm (Other flexible hours available e.g. 7:30am to 4:00 or 9:30am to 6:00pm.) with one hour break
