Sunstates Security is hiring for Full‑time Security Officers in the San Jose, CA area. The position offers a pay rate of $27 /hr, paid weekly
.

Shift: Third shift (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM)

• CA Guard Card / 40‑hour certificate preferred
• Must have Power to Arrest & Weapons of Mass Destruction certificate
• Successful completion of Sunstates background check, including a 10‑panel drug screen and the client’s extensive background check
• 21 years of age or older with a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and at least 3 years of driving experience

• Provide exceptional customer service in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner
• Maintain composure and an infectious attitude toward emerging issues, adapting quickly and developing practical solutions with minimal supervision
• Prepare required written reports promptly, including Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and Incident Reports
• Operate phones, radios, and computer systems such as MAC OS iPhone, Microsoft Office 365, and Google Suites
• Monitor closed‑circuit television (CCTV) and alarm panels for emergencies and potential issues
• Follow site‑specific post orders, pass down messages, and comply with employee handbook guidelines at all times
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols within office and industrial complexes

High School diploma or equivalent

• Driver’s license
• CA Guard Card
