Residential Alcohol and Other Drugs Coordinator (Parisi House, 40hrs)
Join Momentum for Health as a Residential Alcohol and Other Drugs Coordinator at Parisi House. This 40‑hour per week role focuses on supporting clients in recovery.
Work Schedule: Tuesday‑Saturday, 11:00 pm–7:00 am.
Pay Rates (Union Positions – SEIU Local 521): Step 1: $29.14/hr to Step 6: $32.17/hr.

- Enter information into the daily log, describing incidents, altercations, mother‑child interactions, and medication discrepancies.
- Oversee day‑to‑day activities of clients and their children, including rounds, chores, group attendance, and supervision.
- Monitor and assist mothers with positive parenting activities, providing crisis intervention as needed.
- Provide client access to medications, ensuring correct dosage and inventory per shift.
- Arrange transportation for clients (appointments, grocery shopping, WIC, etc.).
- Track daily census of clients.
- Conduct scheduled and random urine and oral drug tests.
- Prepare bedrooms for new clients and clean after departures; submit maintenance requests.
- Communicate thorough shift exchange to incoming staff, including updates and to‑dos.
- Conduct facility, room, and client searches, including incoming packages and personal items.
- Produce end‑of‑month reports, inventorying food, medicine, supplies, fire and safety checks; request repairs.
- Participate in training and achieve certifications per federal, state, and county licensing requirements.
- Perform client checks and take vitals as per the Withdrawal Management Policy.
- Provide childcare coverage as needed.
- Provide coverage for admission and discharge paperwork.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED. (E)
- Valid California driver’s license, reliable vehicle (or ability to drive company vehicle), proof of auto liability insurance, clean DMV record. (E)
- Working knowledge of MS Office and Excel. (E)
- Filing skills (alpha, numeric, date). (E)
- Experience in multicultural settings with women and children affected by addiction and possible mental health diagnoses. (D)
- Sensitivity to female privacy and prior domestic abuse. (E)
- Experience with social‑model methodology and 12‑Step recovery principles. (D)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish. (D)
- Strong personal boundaries combined with compassion. (E)
- Experience modeling recovery concepts, healthy life skills, and positive parenting skills for a positive recovery environment. (D)
Regular sitting, standing, walking up and down a small hill; occasional lifting or moving of up to 40 lbs (strollers, supplies, small children).
Work EnvironmentPrimary work performed in a residential setting with short periods at an office desk; exposure to clients in various states of undress.
Travel RequirementLocal travel to training, client appointments, and errands as needed.
