Job Title:
Software Engineer
Job Duration:40 Hours / Week, Permanent position, Full time
Job Duties:Analysis and design the architecture of software system per user need & evaluate and identify software solutions. Develop and maintain applications software and databases by evaluating client needs; analyzing requirements; developing software systems. Work closely with product owners and project managers to understand overall project vision, mission, and scope and design deliverables. Participate in all e-commerce services requirements gathering, analysis and design discussions with product owners, project manager, team lead and an architect, and recommend best practices for user requirements.
Support existing features via bug fixes and implement new features. Monitor & improve coding standard by restricting the services and classes. Maintaining deep knowledge and understanding of technology software design patterns and code concepts. Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards. Design workflows and sequence diagram to define interaction of different business layers with data access layers.
Define solution structure to build basic framework for services and APIs. Participate in developing code review standards across teams with an aim to improve quality and reliability. Build systems and components based on provided requirements. Follow best practices, guidelines, unit testing practices and ensure designs follow specifications and standards to ensure delivery is done as per guidelines. Manage deployment and directly support customer reported issues.
Participates in establishment of long-term processes and measures to improve unit testing across teams.
Required Master’s or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, MIS, Engineering (Any), or any related field + 1 year of experience in the job offered, Software Developer, Product and Platform Engineer, Systems Engineer, or related. Travel may be required to various unanticipated client sites throughout the U.S.
