Job OverviewPlans, designs, develops, and tests software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products, including cloud-based or internet-related tools. The role is full-time and belongs to the Subscription Life Cycle Services (SLS) Team, which handles tens of millions of Adobe subscriptions.
Responsibilities- Participate in all phases of software development: design, coding, code review, unit‑testing, integration testing, and bug fixing.
- Independently design and deliver medium to complex functionality.
- Provide guidance to team members to build scalable, high‑performance solutions with low operational overhead.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional team members to ensure a superb end‑to‑end user experience for customers.
- Prototype ideas quickly and research the latest industry trends.
- Build features that enhance product usability, experiment with metrics, and propose improvements to increase adoption.
- Analyze data flowing through different systems/services and perform experimentation.
- Build data consistency and validation features to deliver high‑quality data.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience.
- Motivated self‑starter with a rapid learning ability.
- Track record of delivering software releases or projects on time with high quality.
- Experience with Java and Spring Framework; proficient in object‑oriented analysis and design.
- Experience building large‑scale, complex client/server solutions is a plus.
- Knowledge in data experimentation and analysis.
- Experience building RESTful services.
- Excellent knowledge of databases and SQL.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Agile software development techniques.
- Experience with AWS, New Relic, and Splunk is a huge plus.
U.S. pay range: $139,000 – $257,550 annually. Pay varies by location and may also depend on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Detailed salary information will be shared during the hiring process.
