The Trust and Safety (TnS) engineering team protects Tik Tok users from harmful content and abusive behaviors. The team builds content moderation process systems, rule engines, strategy systems, feature engines, human moderation platforms, risk insight systems, and a wide range of supporting platforms across the TnS organization. Successful candidates must commit to an onboarding date by the end of 2026.

• Responsible for front‑end technology selection and development.
• Optimize front‑end function design to solve compatibility problems across browsers and endpoint devices.
• Improve user experience and meet high performance requirements through technical means.
• Write general components and class libraries to improve development efficiency and quality.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s graduate in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Familiar with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, page architecture, layout, HTML5/CSS3 and other common technologies.
• Familiar with React, AJAX, DOM, and related technologies.
• Familiar with Node.js; proficient in using Webpack, Vite and other build tools.

• Experience with MVVM framework development, such as React, Vue.js, Angular
  
  JS, etc.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, love technology, strong sense of responsibility, and promotion of a technical framework.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $118,657–$187,200 annually. Compensation may vary outside this range based on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. The role may also be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock units.
