Developer, Full Stack Developer, Software Development

Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in San Jose, CA
. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Ruby on Rails and Node.js, while delivering robust front-end solutions with React or Angular.

Rate Range: $50/hour to $53/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Ruby on Rails and
• Build and optimize front-end components using modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices for distributed systems.
• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability across all layers of the stack.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and mentor junior developers on modern development standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of hands‑on full‑stack development experience.
• Strong expertise in Ruby, Ruby on Rails, and Node.js with proven experience in building scalable applications.
• Solid front‑end development experience using React, Angular, or Vue, along with deep understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and API design.
