$115,000 - $230,000 per year

Our Staff Engineer is a lead member of the "Customer Success - Solution Architecture" team working across the organization to provide a friction‑less experience to our customers and maintain the highest standards of protection and availability. Our team thrives and succeeds in delivering high‑quality technology products and services in a hyper‑growth environment where priorities shift quickly. The ideal candidate has broad and deep technical knowledge.

• Focus on multiple areas and provide leadership to the engineering teams
• Own complete solution across its entire life cycle
• Have full ownership for product development and a customer‑centric solution.
• Influence and build vision with product managers, team members, customers, and other engineering teams to solve complex problems for building enterprise‑class business applications.
• Accountable for the quality, usability, and performance of the solutions.
• Lead in design sessions and code reviews to elevate the quality of engineering across the organization.
• Utilize programming languages like .NET, Python, SQL, No
  
  SQL databases, Container Orchestration services including Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of Azure tools and services.
• Mentor more junior team members professionally to help them realize their full potential.
• Consistently share best practices and improve processes within and across teams.

• Fluency and specialization with at least two modern languages such as Java, C++, Python or C# including object‑oriented design.
• Experience in building products using micro‑services architecture and extensible REST APIs.
• Experience building the architecture and design of new and current systems.
• Experience with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code.
• Fluency in Dev Ops concepts, Cloud Architecture, and Azure Dev Ops operational framework.
• Experience in leveraging Power Shell scripting.
• Experience in existing operational portals such as Azure Portal.
• Experience with application monitoring tools and performance assessments.
• Experience in datacenter structure, capabilities, and offerings, including the Azure platform and its native services.
• Experience in security protocols and products:
  Understanding of Active Directory, Windows Authentication, SAML, OAuth.
• Experience in Azure Network (Subscription, Security zoning, etc.).
• In‑depth knowledge of CS data structures and algorithms.
• Strong problem‑solving ability.
• Ability to excel in a fast‑paced, startup‑like environment.
• Knowledge of developer tooling across the software development life cycle.
• Soft skills:
  
  Excellent communication, full ownership of issues, wear multiple hats when necessary.

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• 4+ years of experience in open‑source frameworks.
• 3+ years of experience with architecture and design.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience.

$115,000 - $230,000. The above range is a general guideline and factors such as scope, responsibilities, experience, education, location and market considerations are taken into account.
