The Tik Tok User Privacy & Responsibility Product division ensures that Tik Tok meets privacy, responsibility, and regulatory requirements while delivering exceptional user experiences for creating, consuming, and enjoying content on Tik Tok.

• Develop product vision, roadmap, and long-term strategy for Tik Tok’s age assurance ecosystem, building ML-driven foundations for consistent and age-appropriate experiences globally.
• Define quantitative goals and model-level metrics to evaluate and improve age estimation and risk detection systems.
• Partner closely with Algorithm, Data Science, Engineering, Trust & Safety, and Design to design, evaluate, and optimize ML-based age assurance components.
• Own the full product lifecycle from concept to launch and iteration, ensuring strong UX, technical robustness, and compliance across markets.
• Translate global regulatory requirements into scalable product and model strategies, incorporating governance, explainability, and auditability.
• Lead cross‑functional execution and drive alignment on complex ML, policy, and user experience trade‑offs.

• Bachelor's degree or above with 5+ years of Product Management experience in Identity, Privacy, Trust & Safety, Risk, or ML/Algo‑powered products.
• Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals, including model evaluation, thresholding, and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Proven ability to collaborate with Algo/DS teams to interpret model performance and drive ML‑informed product iterations.
• Experience translating regulatory or policy requirements into scalable product strategies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.

• Experience building or optimizing age assurance, identity verification, or youth safety systems.
• Familiarity with global age assurance and youth safety regulatory trends.
• Passion for digital well‑being, youth safety, and responsible innovation, with a strong sense of ownership for user trust and platform integrity.
