Payments team is the backbone and revenue driver for Bill, playing a mission‑critical role in moving over $300B+ annually across various payment methods. We are doubling down on platform perspective and innovation to facilitate scaling needed for 10x growth, leveraging modernization and Gen AI technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of experience in software engineering.

• Experience leveraging Gen AI technologies to accelerate software engineering by designing prompts, rigorously evaluating outputs, and integrating LLMs.

• Proven experience in leading the design and implementation of new platform services.

• Expertise in building and maintaining large‑scale, high‑volume, high‑availability, low‑latency systems.

• Strong understanding of security, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

• Demonstrated experience in the payment industry or supporting platform development.

• Proficiency in version control, code reviews, testing, and deployment automation.

• Ability to mentor and guide other engineers in best practices and advanced technical concepts.

• Experience with machine learning model integration and data pipeline design.
