In this role candidate will test complex, real-time interactive components such as dynamic combo boxes, auto-suggestions, voice-input controls and rich media snippet cards to guarantee full compliance with WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • 4+ years of dedicated experience in digital accessibility testing and QA
  • Conduct manual accessibility evaluations on dynamic elements, including dynamic dropdowns, live region announcements, query filter chips, and pagination/infinite scroll.
  • Perform end-to-end user flow testing using screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, Voice Over on macOS/iOS, Talk Back on Android) and keyboard-only navigation.
  • Verify keyboard focus indicators, logical tab ordering, search landmark usage, and "Skip to Search Results" shortcut implementations.
  • Run automated accessibility scans using tools like axe Dev Tools, Lighthouse, and Accessibility Insights; assist in maintaining automated axe-core test suites in the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Log high-quality bug reports with exact reproduction steps, impact severity on users with disabilities, and code-level remediation recommendations (HTML semantics, ARIA attributes).
  • Partner with frontend engineers and UX designers during sprint planning and PR reviews to catch accessibility regressions early.
  • Solid working knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2 Level A and AA criteria, Section 508, and WAI-ARIA Authoring Practices Guide (APG).
  • Clear understanding of how to test and validate complex interactive widgets like Combobox, Listbox, Dialogs, Tooltips, and ARIA Live Regions.
  • Hands-on proficiency testing across primary browser and screen reader combinations (Chrome/NVDA, Edge/JAWS, Safari/Voice Over, Chrome/Talk Back).
  • Ability to inspect the DOM, evaluate color contrast ratios, check accessible names in Dev Tools, and read basic HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
  • 2-4 years of software testing experience, with at least 2 years focused specifically on web/mobile accessibility QA.
