”Design, build, and ship backend features and capabilities in a highly scalable, cross-geographic distributed environment while collaborating closely with engineers, architects, product managers, and designers in an open, agile workspace. Ensure full visibility, error reporting, and monitoring of high-performing backend services and actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demo sessions. Review code with best practices of readability, testing patterns, documentation, reliability, security, and performance consideration in mind.

Develop backend applications using modern object-oriented programming languages, crafting and implementing scalable RESTful microservices, and applying expertise in database technologies ranging from RDBMS platforms to No

SQL.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m.

- 5:30 p.m. Salary: $224,800 to $235,000/yr.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Statistics, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, and four (4) years of related work experience.

Must have four (4) years of experience with/in:

Designing, building, and shipping backend features

Crafting and implementing performant and scalable RESTful microservices

RDBMS technologies such as Oracle/Postgres and No

SQL databases such as DynamoDB/Cassandra

Must have two (2) years of experience with/in:

At least three (3) of the following modern object-oriented programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, Go, Scala, and/or C++

Public cloud services including AWS, GAE, and Azure
