Job Description
Pay Range: $300,000 - $335,000 / year
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

We are currently seeking an Associate Medical Director, bringing expertise in the space of Cardio, Vascular, Diabetes, Metabolic, Wellness and Endocrine (CVDME).
Responsibilities
- The chosen candidate will be responsible for providing medical affairs and clinical direction for CVDME diseases providing and/or guiding direction of efforts company wide.
- Work with external partners: academic institutions, KOLs, customers, payers, and regulatory agencies as a medical director reporting to the Medical Director, CVDME.
- Role will be critical in providing strategic insights to the CVDME franchise. This includes efforts relating to test development, licensing, joint partnership with academic experts, technology evaluation and providing clinical relevance of testing for successful commercialization of tests.
- Establish large network of collaborators. Initiate and Collaborate with R&D project pipeline. Understand feedback and what new tests need to be developed. Understand internal mechanisms leading to completion of projects.
- This position will work for business growth in the specific areas of expertise with keen understanding of the challenges facing endocrinologists, non-interventional cardiologists, internists and primary care in both group physician and medical center based practices.
- The individual must be able to work cross functionally to develop reimbursement and clinical utility plans for new and emerging testing.
- Advises Quest CVDME and General Diagnostics senior management staff of trends and actions that must be incorporated into business and strategic planning.
- Interacts with academic institutions, key opinion leaders, and reviews new research developments in the appropriate fields of expertise. Makes recommendations on strategies and tests to develop R&D and Clinical Franchise strategic plans.
- Member of CVDME Franchise team. Participates in all significant scientific, business and policy decisions impacting the clinical utility and quality of testing services.
