QA Lab Coordinator – Molecular Genetics

Tuesdays - Saturdays, 7:30AM-4:00PM PST

This position ensures that the laboratory maintains inspection readiness at all times.

$45.29 - $76.99 per hour

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

• Supports, implements and ensures compliance of all department and company Quality Assurance/Quality Control related policies. Performs department Quality Control.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 4‑5 years of progressive experience as a scientist/medical technologist in a clinical laboratory, including at least 2‑4 years of high complexity testing and associated methodologies. Applicant must be a California State Licensed or Limited License Clinical Laboratory Scientist.

• May require lifting and carrying objects: 1‑10 lbs frequently; 11‑25 lbs occasionally; 26‑50 lbs rarely; >50 lbs not to be lifted without assistance.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks. Frequent simple grasping, reaching, and fine manipulation.
• Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods.
• Good eye and hand coordination.

• Communication and interpersonal skills necessary to deal courteously and effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and clients.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
