Job DescriptionThis position ensures that the laboratory maintains inspection readiness at all times.
Pay Range$45.29 - $76.99 per hour
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 available for external applicants only.

- Ensures compliance with all applicable related activities.
- Facilitates internal and external audits.
- In coordination with management, ensures that departmental standard operating procedures and database are regularly updated to accurately reflect current processes.
- Coordinates internal and external proficiency testing activities.
- In coordination with management, oversees department training and competency programs.
- May perform job responsibilities equivalent to a Licensed Scientist, as needed.
- Complies with all health and safety policies, procedures, and practices. Required to use personal protective equipment.

- Supports, implements and ensures compliance of all department and company Quality Assurance/Quality Control related policies. Performs department Quality Control.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 4‑5 years of progressive experience as a scientist/medical technologist in a clinical laboratory, including at least 2‑4 years of high complexity testing and associated methodologies. Applicant must be a California State Licensed or Limited License Clinical Laboratory Scientist.

- May require lifting and carrying objects: 1‑10 lbs frequently; 11‑25 lbs occasionally; 26‑50 lbs rarely; >50 lbs not to be lifted without assistance.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks. Frequent simple grasping, reaching, and fine manipulation.
- Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods.
- Good eye and hand coordination.
- Communication and interpersonal skills necessary to deal courteously and effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and clients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
