Compensation
:
Pay Per Visit compensation model. Rates range from $30/visit to $40/visit, commensurate with experience and depending on the type of visit. The compensation reflected on this posting is an estimate of hourly compensation.
- Provide direct nursing care to clients as prescribed by the physician, under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN).
- Observe, report, and document changes in the patient’s condition, and complete accurate clinical notes.
- Assist the patient with activities of daily living and facilitate their effort toward self-sufficiency and independence.
- LVN/LPN licensed to practice in the state of practice and in good standing.
- Graduate of an approved school of practical/vocational nursing.
- One (1) year experience as a professional nurse in an acute setting.
- Possesses and maintains current CPR certification (BLS required).
- Possesses a valid driver’s license.
- Possesses an insured automobile in accordance with LORIAN requirements.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given in the patient’s electronic medical record.
- Possesses excellent observation, good nursing judgment, and good oral and written communication skills.
- Is self-directing and can work with little direct supervision.
- Ability to work with adults (18 years and older) with tact and patience.
- Is flexible and cooperative in fulfilling role obligations.
- Participates in in-service education programs and clinical meetings.
- Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
- Maintains confidential patient records in accordance with HIPAA and other applicable state laws.
