Schedule:

Part-Time Friday and Sunday 3p-8p.

As a Cook, you’ll support kitchen operations and help ensure residents enjoy nutritious, high-quality meals. This is a hands‑on position that plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen while supporting the culinary team.

• Food Preparation & Service:
  Assist with meal prep and serve meals and beverages as needed.
• Kitchen Maintenance:
  Keep kitchen areas clean and organized, handle trash and recyclables, and sanitize equipment and surfaces.
• Dishwashing Duties:
  Rinse, soak, and store dishes, pots, and pans, and operate the dish machine.
• Record Keeping:
  Help maintain records, report supply needs, and alert the supervisor of equipment issues.
• Safety & Compliance:
  Follow all food safety protocols and store food properly to prevent contamination.

• Previous experience in food preparation or working with seniors is a plus, but not required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and willingness to follow protocols.
• Dependable, able to work independently, and committed to high‑quality work.
