• Plan, develop, and deliver engaging science lessons aligned with state standards and the school's curriculum.
• Design hands‑on experiments and activities that promote inquiry‑based learning and student engagement.
• Encourage curiosity and critical thinking through exploration of life, earth, and physical sciences.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners and varying ability levels.
• Assess student learning using a variety of formative and summative tools and provide constructive feedback.
• Integrate technology, lab equipment, and multimedia tools to enhance scientific understanding.
• Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to support interdisciplinary and project‑based learning initiatives.
• Maintain a safe and organized laboratory and classroom environment.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to promote academic success and growth.

• Bachelor's degree in Science Education or a related field required.
• Master's degree in Education or Science preferred.
• Valid California Teaching Credential in Science (Single Subject) or Multiple Subject with science focus required.
• Previous experience teaching science at the elementary or middle school level preferred.
• Strong understanding of the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to inspire students through creativity, enthusiasm, and a hands‑on approach to learning.
• Proficiency in integrating technology into classroom instruction.
