Experience Required: 3-5+ years in trading at a hedge fund or prop firm

Skills Required: Mastery in Excel, exceptional organizational skills, intellectual curiosity, and a strong interest in cryptocurrency

• Market Monitoring and Execution:
  Ensure trading profiles are configured and tested for optimal execution of long or short positions.
• Market Monitoring and Execution:
  Develop trading rules and algos for rolling positions, optimizing how much money gets lost moving positions, rolling positions that will expire or from short to long-term accounts.
• Market Monitoring and Execution:
  Check and neutralize liquidation threats
• Market Monitoring and Execution:
  Net long and short positions after large trades
• Collaboration and Communication:
  Work closely with the software development team to prioritize software features related to position management, order management, execution, and analysis.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  Assist the head trader by providing timely information flow and order preparedness.
• Research and Development:
  Investigate new software platforms and address a variety of performance opportunities and issues with software developers.
• Research and Development:
  Explore new exchanges for liquidity opportunities.
• Risk and Position Management:
  Configure risk limits, order size limits, position size limits, and API rate limits.
• Risk and Position Management:
  Manage subaccounts and margin to distribute risk effectively.
• Risk and Position Management:
  Develop trading rules and algorithms for rolling positions and optimizing position management.
• Operational Efficiency:
  Ensure sufficient collateral is assigned to each instrument on each exchange.
• Operational Efficiency:
  Design and enhance robust protocols and procedures to prevent slips on execution, collateral, risk, liquidations, funding, fees, etc.
• Operational Efficiency:
  Update trading profiles following contract expirations.
• Operational Efficiency:
  Monitor exchange-specific promotions, announcements, and listings.
• Reporting and Recommendations:
  Manage daily reporting to the CEO.
• Reporting and Recommendations:
  Make informed trading recommendations to the head trader.
• Reporting and Recommendations:
  Monitor exchange emails for maintenance schedules or changes.
• Additional Responsibilities:
  Work with the operations team to reduce fees through market maker programs and other strategies.

  Test software, investigate bugs, and report findings.

  Recommend money movements to balance equity between exchanges.
• Additional Responsibilities:
  Neutralize liquidation threats and manage net long and short positions after large trades.

Qualifications:

• Experience in providing software requirements to developers is a plus.

• Relocation to Puerto Rico
• 3 to 5 years of trading experience in the hedge fund or banking sectors
• Proficient in Excel
• Exceptionally organized
• Intellectual curiosity and a strong interest in crypto
