Account Manager - 3D Digitizing - CA

Shining 3D’s technology spans cover every 3D imaging process and technology with innovative solutions, including: 3D scanning, reverse engineering, inspection, styling, design, analysis, digital manufacturing, and health care applications.

Shining 3D has developed and sells, both directly and indirectly, 3D scanners, photogrammetry systems and 3D printers.

• Generate sales revenues by performing product demonstrations at selected customer sites and evaluate customer requirements, including installation location, mounting requirements, customer engineering drawings, CAD/CAM data, inspection plans and rapid prototyping requirements.
• Develop a complete and expert knowledge of Shining 3D’s hardware and software products to demonstrate products to key individuals and organizations for marketing and sales purposes (trade shows, engineering associations, etc.).
• Identify additional sales opportunities outside of traditional channels.
• Utilize all available resources including sales management, Inside Sales Specialists, Applications Engineers, marketing and others to advance and close sales.
• Work as part of the sales team to generate ideas for company sales opportunities, processes and systems.
• Act as point of contact and provide technical support to potential customers during the evaluation period.
• Effectively communicate recommendations for hardware and software changes to Applications Engineers and R&D as requested by customers.
• Achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales performance goals as required.

• Knowledge of CAD.
• Ability to work independently, travel extensively within the territory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Surveying and Mapping Engineering and Vehicle Engineering strongly preferred or related engineering degree.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
• 3D scanner, lasers and quality control, familiarity with 3D productions and industrial measurement, experience selling 3D related products is a strong plus.
• Demonstrated ability to isolate and identify technical problems, formulate and demonstrate solutions.
