As we continue to Grow Baby Grow toward our $1B vision, we’re expanding our production capabilities, introducing new technologies, and building the systems that will power Torani’s next generation of growth.
What You’ll Do- As an Engineering Intern, you’ll gain exposure across multiple facets of manufacturing and operations while supporting the Engineering, Maintenance, and Manufacturing teams on projects that improve safety and productivity.
- Key Responsibilities
- Support capital project execution — from concept to commissioning — for process, packaging, and infrastructure initiatives.
- Partner with engineers and maintenance teams to document equipment performance, PM programs, and line layouts.
- Assist with data collection and analysis to improve reliability, efficiency, and sustainability.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities focused on reducing downtime, improving quality, and enhancing safety.
- Create or update engineering drawings, work instructions, and Torani Operating Procedures (TOPs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Quality, Procurement, R&D, and Supply Chain) to bring ideas from concept to reality.
- Support the East Coast facility design and startup by contributing to early layout studies, process mapping, and equipment specification.
- During your internship, you’ll develop a practical understanding of how a world-class manufacturing operation functions—where people, process, and purpose come together.
- You’ll gain exposure to:
- Lean Manufacturing and Operational Excellence frameworks
- Capital project lifecycle and startup validation (CCQ – Construction, Commissioning, Qualification)
- Maintenance and reliability engineering principles (TPM, CMMS, OEE)
- Sustainable manufacturing and energy reduction initiatives
- Collaboration across multidisciplinary teams in a growth-oriented CPG environment
- You’re a learner and builder at heart — equally comfortable analyzing data, designing systems, and getting hands‑on on the plant floor. You’re curious, collaborative, and inspired by the challenge of helping a growing business get even better.
- Qualifications
- Recently completed B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering (or related field).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and exposure to CAD tools (AutoCAD, Solid Works, or similar).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Genuine interest in manufacturing, process improvement, and sustainability.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
At Torani, we’re committed to being recognized not only for what we do, but how we do it. You’ll join a team that:
- Values learning and growth — Every role, at every level, is a chance to grow.
- Builds community and connection — We care deeply for one another, our customers, and our planet.
