As a Bilingual Recruiter, you will represent Corovan’s brand and aid in recruiting and hiring talent. Whether you are mining resumes through a database, pre‑screening applicants, or networking with employees to obtain referrals, you will keep an eye on Corovan’s staffing needs. You will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring candidates while collaborating cross‑functionally to build and refine internal partnerships.

The Bilingual Recruiter is responsible for making a significant contribution to the recruiting strategy, for finding qualified candidates, and for helping persuade qualified candidates to join our team. You must be comfortable with full‑cycle recruiting and using the HRIS system to track candidate status.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Full life‑cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, hiring talent, and dispositioning candidates in ATS (currently using UKG).
  • Phone screen candidates for key requirements and competencies.
  • Schedule interviews, develop offers for selected candidates, extend and process offers.
  • Discuss with hiring manager and provide insights about candidate profile and market information.
  • Understand and apply policies and procedures.
  • Obtain leads through networking and interviews.
  • Prepare new‑hire paperwork, including completing new‑hire checklist, as needed.
  • Aid with written and verbal translation from English to Spanish, as needed.
  • Schedule new‑hire orientation and onboarding, as needed.
  • Work with hiring managers to understand job requirements and create job requisitions.
  • Identify creative ways to attract candidates to open positions.
  • Use excellent judgment to evaluate candidate’s skills and capabilities.
  • Recruit passive candidates and develop a pipeline of candidates.
  • Develop a talent pipeline through community and university partners.
  • Develop a go‑to‑market strategy, promoting Corovan as an employer of choice within the communities we serve while canvassing local neighborhoods and establishments for potential candidates.
Training/Communication with managers and employees:
  • Coaching managers on how to assess, attract, and onboard candidates effectively.
  • Partner regularly with Human . Assist with administrative and strategic tasks and projects as needed.
  • Travel as needed to support recruitment and hiring at the San Jose and San Leandro branches.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Customer Relations:
  • Build solid relationships with internal team members and a wide range of stakeholders across Corovan to manage expectations.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to internal and external partners, including prospective and current employees.
  • Request background checks and drug screens upon offer acceptance, as needed.
  • Perform follow‑up calls with recently hired employees.
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with internal clients, employees, and applicants.
EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE:

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience with years of proven experience.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience attracting, recruiting, and hiring talent or related experience.
  • Experience conducting intake sessions and partnering with hiring managers.
  • Bilingual in English and resignation (Spanish).
  • Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment.
  • Ability to work effectively with others and partner well.
  • Project Management and tracking skills.
  • Valid state driver’s license and adherence to the Driving Policy on Use of Employee’s Personal Vehicle for Company Business Policy.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience aligning to a high‑volume non‑ex masturbator population.
  • Experience using HRIS systems to assign training or other HR assignments, including entry of new hires.
  • Background in employment law with regards to recruiting and other OFCCP government compliance regulations.
