Overview
Maintenance Technician II - 1st Shift at Torani (R. Torre & Co.)
Location:
San Leandro, CA
Are you passionate about machines and how they work? This role focuses on maintaining manufacturing lines, solving maintenance challenges, and supporting our production operations with a blend of lean principles, PLCs, fabrication, CMMS technology, and Microsoft Office tools.
Utilizing your industrial maintenance expertise, you will be an integral part of advancing our manufacturing operations and helping us provide Torani products to customers.
Responsibilities- Serve as a key maintenance team member with a broad tool-belt of industrial maintenance skills (motors, vision systems, filling & packaging equipment, and more).
- Perform root-cause analysis to diagnose issues, prioritize work orders, and ensure timely maintenance for Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and special projects.
- Develop and participate in autonomous maintenance activities, including line changeovers, basic PMs, inspections, and operator training materials.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives (AM, 5S, Lean) and assist in or lead projects to enhance manufacturing operations.
- Promote and uphold safety and quality standards, contributing to HACCP considerations in equipment and line improvements.
- Operate and understand all production equipment, escalate where needed, and contribute to a living autonomous maintenance culture.
- 3 years of industrial plant maintenance planning experience; specialized technical skills, good manufacturing practices, troubleshooting, and failure analysis.
- 2 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment.
- Willing to work overtime and on weekends as needed.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to work 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
$41.15 - $45.70 per hour
