American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring a CA RN license and recent emergency department experience.

• Emergency Department setting
• 12-hour night shift schedule from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM
• 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
• Uses Epic EMR

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course required, or ENPC/PALS within 6 months of hire
• 1 year of recent full-time equivalent ER experience within the last 3 years required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• BSN preferred
• CEN and TNCC certifications preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
• Demonstrated ability to recognize and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias preferred
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration

• Licenses and certifications must be active at time of consideration; pending credentials not accepted
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel pay
• Contingent workers may not exceed two years on assignment without a 90-day break per facility tenure policy
• Former permanent staff must be separated for 6 months before becoming eligible for a travel assignment
