We are hiring a React Developer for a contract position based in San Leandro, California. This is a 6+ month engagement focused on front-end development with modern JavaScript frameworks and web technologies.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain user interfaces and web applications using React and modern Java Script
- Write clean, high-quality, and developer-friendly code for front-end components
- Build RESTful APIs and web services
- Create and execute UI unit tests using testing frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on large-scale web application development
- Implement state management solutions for complex application requirements
- Optimize applications for high performance
- Mentor and guide other developers on projects and initiatives
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using developer tools
- Participate in code review and version control practices
- Required
- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience
- Preferred
- 4+ years of experience with modern HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and Type Script
- 5+ years of Web Development experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React
- Experience creating pixel-perfect, robust, and developer-friendly user interfaces and web applications
- Experience with ReactJS
- Experience with JestJS
- Experience with React Testing Library (RTL)
- Experience with Webpack
- Experience with StorybookJS
- Experience with StencilJS
- Experience building RESTful APIs and web services
- Experience creating large-scale web applications with ReactJS
- Familiarity with complex state management tools such as Redux or RxJS
- Experience writing UI unit tests with Jest, Jasmine, or similar frameworks
- Knowledge of BDD and automated testing practices
- Knowledge of Accessibility and ADA compliance
- Experience with code hosting and version control platforms such as Git Hub
- Experience with project tracking software such as Jira
- Experience with application monitoring tools such as Splunk
- Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS)
- Experience with interface design tools such as Figma or In Vision
