Job Summary
As part of the Evaluations, Articulation, and Transfer Credit unit, the Articulation and Transfer Credit Coordinator supports the ongoing accuracy and integrity of student academic records through the entry and maintenance of transfer credit and articulation data. This position works under the general direction of the Assistant Registrar and is responsible for the accurate and timely input of transferable course information into the student information system (People Soft) and related databases such as ASSIST.org.
The work is largely focused on data interpretation and entry, supporting internal processing needs across multiple units, including academic advising, financial aid, and degree progress evaluation.
This is a full-time temporary position through December 31, 2026 and is eligible for full benefits, including medical, dental, vision and CalPERS retirement.
Department Summary
Within Strategic Enrollment Management, the Office of the Registrar serves the entire campus community and its alumni. It is responsible for the integrity and maintenance of all aspects of the student academic record from the point of admission through graduation, including the evaluation of transfer credit, registration, enrollment changes, verification of enrollment, degree progress tracking, degree conferral, diploma preparation, and transcript production.
The office also oversees the University’s courses, curricula, and academic scheduling, all of which support timely student enrollment and degree completion.

- Thorough knowledge of general office procedures and systems.
- Ability to perform accurate and high-volume data entry.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to apply a wide range of established procedures, use sound judgment, and identify solutions to standard and non-standard issues.
- Demonstrated organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or its equivalent. Type 45 wpm. Four years of general office support or technical experience. (Training at a vocational school or full-time college education may be substituted for up to two years of the required experience on the basis of one year of education for six months of experience.)
Salary and Benefits
Anticipated Hiring Range: $48,564 - $56,904 Per Year
Classification Range: $48,564 - $70,752 Per Year

The Anticipated Hiring Range referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Classification Range may be broader than what the University anticipates paying for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
