- Board certified with the American Board of Ophthalmology, or at least board‑eligible
- Fellowship‑trained in oculoplastic preferred
- Experience in maintaining accurate medical records
- Comfortable working with scribes and tech support
- Familiarity with cutting‑edge devices in a busy practice
- Provide patient‑centric ophthalmology services and surgery to patients in San Luis Obispo and surrounding areas/offices and ASC
- Serve as one of the lead ophthalmologists, playing a crucial role in delivering exceptional eye‑care services and surgery
- Lead the practice to success by building and maintaining a strong patient following and referral base
- Consistently deliver an exceptional patient experience, ensuring all optical quality controls remain in compliance
Pacific Eye Surgeons is offering an excellent opportunity for a BC/BE ophthalmologist with fellowship training in oculoplastic. Pacific Eye Surgeons is a multi‑specialty, physician‑owned group of 25 MDs and 5 ODs. Subspecialties represented in our group include cornea and refractive surgery, retina, glaucoma, peds, plastics, and uveitis. Our anterior segment specialists average over 500 cataracts each per year, operating in our physician‑owned ambulatory surgery center.
We have five operating rooms onsite, managed by a highly efficient team of nurses and staff.
