Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo seeks a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of English (Linguistics) beginning August 12, 2027. The ideal candidate holds a Ph.D.
in Linguistics or related field by start of appointment and specializes in sociolinguistics and/or phonology. Responsibilities include teaching upper- and lower-division linguistics and TESOL courses, developing and overseeing internships, and contributing to curriculum for General Education and TESOL certificate.
