Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic Structural Engineer with 5-15 years of structural engineering experience, who is a self-starter, responsible, honest, and a hard worker who can lead others in the same work ethic to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Lead others in the same work ethic to contribute to the team’s success.
  • Serve as project engineer for more complex assignments under the direction of the project manager.
  • Manage multiple projects and meet constrained deadlines.
  • Prepare technical writing such as letters, reports, and specifications of moderate complexity with minimal guidance from supervisor.
  • Contribute to structural design across residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects using 2D and 3D modeling and analysis results.
Qualifications
  • B.S. Degree in structural or civil engineering or related field, and 5-15 years post-degree experience.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer preferred, but not required.
  • 5-15 years of structural/civil design experience with all types of materials preferred (wood, concrete, masonry, and steel).
  • Strong capability, experience, and knowledge in residential, commercial, and mixed-use structural design.
  • Technical writing skills in letters, reports, and specifications of moderate complexity with minimal guidance from supervisor.
  • Exceptional organization and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under constrained deadlines.
  • Good working knowledge of engineering software – Excel, RISA, AutoCAD, ENERCALC and others.
  • Proficient in 2D and 3D modeling techniques and interpret the results of those models.
