We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Permanent Principal Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale projects and apply your expertise in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design and analysis of structural systems, ensuring all projects are completed according to industry standards and client specifications.

The role demands a high level of technical proficiency, leadership skills, and a passion for innovation in the engineering industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and analysis of various structural systems for large-scale projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
  • Utilize AutoCAD software to create detailed structural designs and drafts.
  • Oversee the development of structural design plans and specifications, and coordinate with other engineering teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct comprehensive structural analysis and calculations, including load and stress analysis.
  • Review and approve project drawings and reports, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and design staff.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to verify the implementation of structural designs, and provide solutions for any issues that may arise.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques, and apply them in your work to achieve optimal results.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field; a Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on large-scale projects.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
  • Excellent knowledge of structural analysis methods and international engineering standards.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing engineering teams.
  • Exceptional technical and analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, concise manner.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A valid Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate and stay abreast with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a knack for finding efficient solutions to engineering challenges.
  • Ability to travel as needed for site visits and inspections.
