Bilingual Consumer Loan Processor

SESLOC Credit Union is seeking an experienced Consumer Loan Processor to join our team and help us deliver exceptional service to our members.

The role involves processing consumer loan applications from start to finish, reviewing initial approvals, gathering required documentation, verifying documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance, and communicating clearly with members, internal teams, and third parties.

Responsibilities include:

• Process consumer loan applications (Auto, Personal, Credit Cards, and HELOCs) from start to finish across all channels (Branch, Phone, Online)
• Review initial approvals and gather required documentation
• Verify documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Ensure a timely and efficient loan application pipeline management
• Communicate clearly and promptly with members, internal teams, and third parties (e.g., title and insurance companies)
• Collaborate enthusiastically and with a high sense of urgency with members and branch staff to ensure loans are funded efficiently and with care

Requirements include:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1-3 years of loan processing or related experience
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
• Proficiency with computers and a passion for member-focused service
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and build strong relationships
• Solid understanding of consumer lending and real estate industries
• Must be registered or eligible to register with the National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) and maintain annual MLO registration
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
